Chapter 10 - The Unwritten VowOne year later.

The summer afternoon air was warm and sweet, filled with the scent of blooming jasmine and fresh ocean breeze.
On the coastal cliffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean, fifty close friends, colleagues, and family members gathered on a cliffside lawn under white silk canopies.
There were no crystal chandeliers, no press cameras flashing from every direction, and no corporate board members whispering about stock valuations.
Victoria Sinclair stood near the cliffside edge, wearing an elegant emerald jumpsuit, smiling as she raised a glass of champagne toward the crowd.
Beside her stood her father, Harrison, looking relaxed and happy, having officially retired from corporate acquisitions to launch a community development fund with Emily.
Eleanor Hayes was gone—having permanently relocated to a small villa in Europe, stripped of her corporate titles, living quietly on a modest private pension, completely removed from the business world she had once tried to rule.
At the center of the floral arch stood Nathaniel and Emily.
Emily wore a simple, breathtaking lace dress, her dark hair falling in soft waves around her shoulders. Nathaniel wore a tailored grey linen suit, looking healthy, happy, and completely at peace.
Sitting in a tiny white wooden stroller near the front row was one-year-old Clara, giggling happily as she played with a plush teddy bear.
The officiant smiled warmly at the couple. "Nathaniel, do you take Emily to be your lawful wife, to love and protect her, through every storm and every sunshine, for as long as you both shall live?"
Nathaniel looked into Emily’s eyes, holding both of her hands firmly in his.
"I do," Nathaniel said, his voice clear, strong, and resounding across the ocean breeze. "And I promise that for the rest of my life, I will never hide the truth, I will never run from what is right, and I will protect our family above all else."
Emily smiled, tears of pure joy shining in her eyes. "I do."
The crowd erupted into warm, genuine applause as Nathaniel pulled Emily into a soft, loving kiss under the golden afternoon sun.
Victoria stood among the guests, sipping her champagne, watching the couple she had helped save.
